York Harbor Reading Room Weddings & Events

Formed in 1892 as a men's club, the York Harbor Reading Room of York Harbor, Maine is located right on the coastline, with a balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. A bordering park provides a nice spot for photos. The function room is very cozy, with a hunting lodge feel. It's a bit exclusive, open 6 months of the year May through October, with members only access during July and August. Good off-street parking is always a challenge to find, so you'll probably want to contract a trolley service to move the guests around.

"I can't tell you enough how wonderful it was to have you as the DJ at our reception. You were The Most AMAZING DJ I have ever had the privilege of hearing at a wedding! Ron and I had been to so many Weddings this year, and the DJs were awful. 

We were a little skeptical at first being from Chicago and being VERY picky about our music selections. You went above and beyond to cater to our tastes as well as surprise us with a few things we hadn't even heard yet. Music was so important to both Ron and I and we wanted to set a mood. Well, you sure did know how to set the mood and read the crowd. I think the true testament was that no one stopped dancing until we were being kicked out! You are a true DJ for every age and any music style. A true Gem! Thank you again. 

The only thing I am disappointed in is that you do not DJ in Chicago."
