The Numbers Don't Lie...Brides
and grooms are spending more on weddings than ever before, according
to a new survey. The Knot's 2014 Real Weddings survey found that the
average wedding spend is now $31,213. And that doesn't even
include the cost of the honeymoon. The average in 2013, for
comparison, was $29,858.
The cost of entertainment at your reception is only a small portion
of your overall budget. In fact, according to Modern Bride
Magazine, only 5% of your overall budget will be spent on
entertainment. However, almost half of your guests will
remember the performance of your DJ more than anything else
at your reception. All the more reason to hire a seasoned,
proven professional with a long track record of success.

And Consider This...Surveys reveal that AFTER their receptions, 72% of all brides say
they would have spent more time choosing their reception
entertainment. And almost 100% say they would have spent more of
their budget on the entertainment. * Entertainment, on the average, is just 4% of the cost of the
entire reception. * 39% of Brides say their greatest fear is not having fun at their
reception. * During wedding planning, Brides say their highest priority is
their attire, followed by the reception site and caterer. Reception
entertainment is among the least of their priorities. One week after
their reception, 78% of Brides say they would have made the
entertainment their highest priority!
